One of my boss's daughter just got married recently. Since the wedding is in November, the wedding theme is Fall theme. My boss room mate (who's also one of my many bosses from work) has a hidden talent for wedding cake decorating. This wedding cake is her creation and gift to the bride and groom. The wedding cake is a huge display for the wedding, it took the entire long table. This amazingly well done home-made wedding cake is surround by Fall leaves and small gourd ornaments as Fall theme decoration.All the cake sections are connected by series of stairs way, which at the top stairs have 3 bride's maids and 3 groom's men on each side of the stair to represent the wedding party. The cake top itself is the bride and groom glass piece. Each cake is decorated by flowers in details. At the bottom of the main cake is a water fountain which lite up for the wedding event. On either side of this massive beautiful display of cakes, are 2 flat cakes with picture of bride and groom when they were 3 years old on each side. You can photoshop pictures you desire onto the cake now a days, or at least the service is available in bakery stores from where I am. I really like their idea of having bride and groom childhood picture on to the wedding cake. It adds a very nice personal touch to the wedding.
